Our Journey
For more than 12 years, Tankerton FC has been working towards a dream our whole community can be proud of: a new home ground that gives local girls and boys a safe, high-quality place to train, play and grow.
This project hasn’t been easy. It’s taken persistence, patience, and belief — through planning hurdles, ecology requirements, legal advice, and countless conversations with stakeholders and funding bodies. But we’ve kept going because we know how much it matters to our players and families.
Now we’re at the closest point we’ve ever been. And we need your help to get it over the line.
Why We’re Fundraising
Our new facility is a £1.5 million community project, built to support youth football for years to come.
A major international supplier had pledged to deliver the access road and car parks as a pro-bono, community-based gesture.
The estimated commercial value of that work was over £250,000. Unfortunately, that supplier has now gone into administration and had to pull their support — leaving a major gap at a critical moment. Without the access road and parking, the entire project is put at risk.
That’s why we’ve launched this crowdfunder: to replace the lost support and keep the project moving forward.

Tankerton FC has always been about more than football — and this ground reflects that. A Club Built on Community Tankerton FC was one of the first clubs in the country to launch a Youth Council — giving young players a voice and a platform to help shape their club.
