Tankerton U9's Support Breast Cancer

After learning that the Mum of one of their teammates had received the shocking diagnosis of secondary breast cancer, Tankerton FC under 9's all wanted to rally round and show their support. The best way, they felt, to do this was to raise awareness for a wonderful charity that offers amazing support to every breast cancer sufferer.

They did this by putting out a plea on social media for any local business that might be interested in sponsoring the team but with a difference!!! That was to buy the team a kit, but not brand it with their own company logo, but instead allow the charity one to go on instead. Amazingly, TWO generous people stepped forward, with Whitstable-based Marble Financial Planning providing the kit and then Tednmore.co.uk wanting to help out by providing the team with track tops. Neither wanted recognition and only wanted maximum exposure for "Breast Cancer Care".
